Green Party

I’m voting for Jill Stein. It’s a moral choice. It reflects who I am as a person

Vox By Shawn Schossow October 19, 2016 Both major party candidates in this election are unusually unpopular. Young people in particular are unenthusiastic about Trump and Clinton — polling earlier in the election suggested that somewhere between 15 and 44 percent of millennials were planning to vote for a third-party candidate. We wanted to hear from these young voters who are dissatisfied with both Trump and Clinton and have decided to vote third party. Here is a 21-year-old explaining why he’s voting for the Green Party’s Jill Stein. You can also check out our story from a 21-year-old Libertarian voter….

A Good Year to Go Green (Party)

The Hill By Scott McLarty, contributor October 24, 2016 We were treated to a double “October surprise” on Friday, Oct. 7. The video of Donald Trump crowing that his celebrity status entitles him to assault women slightly eclipsed Hillary Clinton‘s leaked speeches. But we still learned that Clinton holds “public and private positions,” that her populist promises regarding free trade, preserving Social Security, and checking the power of Wall Street probably won’t survive Inauguration Day. Millions of voters have figured out that the two major parties don’t represent them. They’re right. It’s not a two-party system, it’s a two-party racket….

An endorsement from Dr. Cornel West

I am Dr. Cornel West, a teacher of philosophy and a citizen of the US republic. I wholeheartedly support Jill Stein and Ajamu Baraka. I came late to the Green Party, but right on time; I was a tireless supporter…

Evil of the Two Lessers

OpEd News By Chris Robinson Permit me to offer a brief history lesson, which might convince some to see the world from a different perspective. The first election campaign I volunteered in was that of President Lyndon Baines Johnson in 1964. I was then a student at Dickinson College, but I was not yet old enough to vote. During the half century since then, I have been an active participant in politics, and I have learned two interesting lessons, which I plan to share with you if you keep reading. I can see now that I was a young fool…

Why a vote for Jill Stein is not a “wasted” vote

Green Party of Ohio By Bob Fitrakis & Suzanne Patzer September 29, 2016 Voters beware! Don’t let mainstream shills for the Democratic Party masquerading as non-partisan progressive journalists or pundits bully you into believing you can’t decide for yourself or that the fallout from your vote will topple our nation. First of all, let’s get something straight. No vote is a “wasted” vote. Anyone who tells you this does not have respect for you or our democratic system. All Votes Matter. A person who takes time to think about issues or candidates and goes to a polling site to cast…
